Photo Techniques   This bi-monthly American magazine has been an invaluable resource for decades. It is aimed at photographers who are fully committed and seriously interested in every detail of photographic craftsmanship. Covering analog and digital photography alike, there is something in every issue for all discerning photographers. The list of contributing authors includes numerous well-known photographic educators. fine art printer   This magazine is targeting the modern digital photographer, but it covers the entire photographic process from image taking and manipulation, through analog and digital printing to professional presentation. Each issue gives updates on the newest equipment, demonstrates sophisticated techniques and acts as a showcase of contemporary photographic art. Black & White Photography   This magazine is dedicated to the monochrome photographer. It strikes a balance between inspiration and information, traditional and digital for the monochrome photographer. Each issue features stunning images from some of the finest names in black & white, regular features include guidance on printing technique, equipment tests and reportage. GMC Publications www.thegmcgroup.com   I frequently contribute to this magazine with technical articles, mainly on the subject of fine-art print making and darkroom manipulations.

View Camera Magazine   This is bi-monthly magazine for the large-format photographer and is now available in print as well as a download. It covers many technical issues in black & white, color ranging from the Zone System to digital, but it never fails to also present excellent examples of photographic art. View Camera Magazine www.viewcamera.com   Preferring the large format myself, I sporadically contribute technical articles to this magazine on making Zone System tools and using large format cameras in the studio.

Camera & Darkroom   This magazine is unfortunately no longer published. It started under the name of 'Darkroom User' and covered every aspect of black & white darkroom work. Foto Format Publications   I have contributed numerous articles in this magazine, addressing several areas of print making. Since little has changed in traditional darkroom work, it is well worth to get back copies of this publication, if you can find them.
